George and June Sports Complex Chooses True Grass

This recent install of 26,500 square feet baseball infield complete with batting cages is the fourth and final project to be installed at the George and June Schaaf Sports Complex in the past few years by All Synthetic Group-Midwest.

All of the fields installed have been for Chicago Christian High School and Trinity Christian College (boys and girls teams) and are also used by the local summer league softball and baseball teams as well.

For this project the schools chose, Sporturf™ True Grass, which is a premium athletic product that has been tried and tested in the toughest conditions. This product also features the longest lasting fiber available, which makes it ideal for indoor and outdoor athletic fields.

Sod, fencing, netting, synthetic turf cages and a new synthetic mound will be installed in the weeks to come.

This site is only one of many ongoing projects that ASG and J&L Strawn Sports Construction have in progress that utilize old waste sites that have met their dormancy requirements.  What better way to breathe new life into a property than as a youth sports facility that will bring more people, jobs and revenue to these sometime undesirable areas of a town or city and make it a destination spot their community.
