Robinson High School chooses Sporturf™ for it’s New Field

Joe T. Robinson High School of Little Rock, AR recently hired Sporturf™ dealer Craig Shonk of Midwest Synthetic Turf Professionals LLC to construct their new field.

The new turf field proudly displays a “12” in the center for players and fans to remember that they are not immune to tragedy; the “12” is in memory of Matthew “Birde” Burdick who was the starting quarterback his senior in 2003. Unfortunately, Matthew was in a deadly car accident on September 12, 2003.

“It reminds us life is precious.  We have got to live every day to the fullest, don’t waste an opportunity,” said Coach Todd Eskola, athletic director and head football coach at Robinson.

Craig Shonk started Midwest Synthetic Turf Professionals LLC as a way to pair together ISO 9001 synthetic turf manufacturing with an ASBA Certified Field Builder for synthetic turf fields to better serve clients throughout the Midwest.
