UW Milwaukee Panther Arena was recently renovated to include a new, top-of-the-line SporturfTM field for the MKE Wave. The players have no need to fear a tackle or fall and accumulating infill in their cleats. The Milwaukee Wave took the field for their home opener on December 6th 2014 against the St. Louis Ambush for a 9-3 win on their new state-of-the-art SporturfTM FastGrass turf system. If a brand new field wasn’t enough, team officials made the decision to have a black field installed to help promote the newest team logo and color change, giving the Milwaukee Wave a unique home field advantage!

SPORTURF™ FASTGRASS
This non-rubber infilled turf has all the advantages of previous generations and perform even higher in wear and resistance tests. The blend of nylon and polyethylene is an almost perfect 50/50 combination. This gives you the true ball roll of a traditional nylon field, with the softness of the new generation rubber-filled turf. No rubberminfill makes maintenance easier, and up to 10% cooler. These systems can also be portable with added 4” or 8” velcro.
